Blue carbon is also called semi-coke. It is a low-volatility solid carbon product obtained by dry distillation of high-volatility bituminous coal with no viscosity or weak viscosity under medium and low temperature conditions. It produces coal tar and dry distillation gas while producing blue carbon. Blue carbon has the characteristics of low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, low aluminum, high fixed carbon ratio, high chemical activity and high specific resistivity. The calorific value is higher, the sulfur and nitrogen content are lower, especially PM2.5 and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are far lower than bituminous coal. It is a kind of clean coke fuel for industry use, and the large-scale popularization of blue carbon has great practical needs for reducing mites.
